Notebooks

I have lots of notebooks
with patterns on their covers
or plain or moleskin style
they have a certain tactile charm
but many remain with blank, wasted pages

Often I'll write the 'good stuff' in the front
in careful neat hand
these pristine pages are for quality ideas
while at the back
freeform random thoughts flow, back to front
sometimes upside down, with pictures or doodles

Noone will see these notebooks
so why do I care?

This blog is my new notebook
environmentally friendly
a space where it's easy to visit
to add to erase to explore
